Eidsvåg – Hellebaken

Eidsvåg – / is a residential district of Bergen, north of the center / that is a distinctive Norwegian wooden architecture lining the coastline and cliffs surrounded by powerful pillars of rocks. There is a popular place for bathing, a small sailboat and small motor boats. Here we find small islands, mostly covered with raccoons and herons. Those bigger are the sheepfolds or are in the possession of local teenagers.
I recommend a few-hour trip to Helleneset, where the forest, boat garages, waterfalls and small terraces will be replaced by a small beach passing gradually in the plain. There are rocks with the possibility of climbing – climbing with really different difficulty. The paths are safe and marked. So carabiners, cushions, scooters, eight, rope and magical ones.
