Osterøy

Details

Osterøy is an island located in the countryside of dreams. Either there is a bridge over Takvam or a ferry from Breistein. I personally recommend a combination, so try out the ferry there and back then the bridge. You will not see the procession of foreigners and tourists on the island. However, the lakes on the island are a popular place for bathing, sunbathing, and beautiful hiking trails are nearby.

Right after the first stretch you will find a labyrinth, a narrow shoulder between the rocks, which connects two large lakes … At the all-day trip it is again ideal to put a small grill in the boat. When kayakers order a water horseshoe and do not want to come back the same way they went out, it takes a walking walk back to the car park for about an hour. I personally recommend beginners. The water is warm. You can try lying on the water, rescue, eskymo turns.
